Link Art!

I am beyond hype for Breath of the Wild!! I had my bar unrealistically high and I was a bitter zelda fan. This blew away all my dreams of Zelda, BLESS NINTENDO.

I am currently drawing Fanart and streaming all the Fallen Hero Timeline Zelda games. Ocarina of Time, Link to the Past,Oracle of Seasons/Ages, Link's Awakening, Zelda 1 and Zelda 2

Then I might just stream CD-i Zelda games as I reach the peak of my insanity.

one zelda ..

This one is based on my theory that Breath of the Wild takes place after Zelda 2:D OLD SCHOOL OG LINK

 Two versions...
Also I would like to turn your attention to my Ocarina of Time ROM I have, It had 2 shading/graphics option and somehow it looks prettier than the 3DS remake IMO. What is happening and why is it so goddamned beautiful ;-; Just look at my art, I looooove glowy bouncing reflective RED light. His hair even sometimes has backlight. IN OCARINA OF TIME??? I am in heaven. Bless you mysterious nerd who made this breathtaking mod/shader. I feel like I'm in a ghibli film!

"I drew my dream" Speedpaintings

I've been wanting a way to practice more, but it's sometimes hard to find the materials to practice.
I found a solution by depicting my dreams :D It's perfect for drawing from imagination. They don't make sense sometimes but here they are so far!

#1: It was like a Game of Thrones at the Wall, but the buildings were snow forts and the weapons were snowballs. The battles were gorey and serious though. I had a dear good friend that was a dragon. He got like.. betrayed and sacrificed himself at the same time or something. This moment in the drawing was all emotional for me. Everyone thought the dragon was bad, but I couldn’t convince them.

#2: This time I was a fugitive in Greece or something. It was like a video game, every time I got caught it would start over at some house. Here’s the map, I had like a google maps moment in my dream. I would always make it to the pier usually. Oh fun outcome (it was a pretty long dream) The people made it into a festival. In remembrance of the “wrongfully accused”, they would all swim to the bridge in freezing waters.

#3: This one took longer. This much was clear… I was some sort of hoodlum. Living in like a mobile home apartment complex, kinda like a white trash Kowloon Walled City or Gotham? I definitely went and “sent a message” by destroying someone’s prized bass (orchestral bass, not electric)
I don't think I lasted long, the dream ended pretty soon after that.

#4: This is as close as it’s going to get. I hadn’t had a dream the last couple nights, then I got this one. It was weird. I was lots of different people, lots of parachuting people. One time I was in a group of blond girls. It was urgent to get to the bathroom before base jumping. And everytime I found a bathroom it was smack in the middle of a busy hallway. It was like… 3 feet tall and cost a ridiculous amount of money (Later I found out it was “Albertson’s points”. what)
I needed to go base jumping.

I'll keep updating them as I draw them!

Drawing Binge

And so I've been on a dang drawing binge! It started out as a small break from the Horse Game since my brother was here, but yeah.. It's escalated.

Plexxus is now on hold! Since we were progressing so slowly, and the workload was way more than we could handle.

Stay tuned for more updates!

#30: Plexxus Art Dump, Ecorche and ZBrush

Catching up V2! How to recap...?

Me and Andy decided that Plexxus was something that needed a bit more man-power than just 1 artist and 1 programmer. Wow... that was mentally draining. But I'm glad I got to know what that felt like. Learnin' from dem experiences! Everyone loves experiences.

But here's some older stuff that I never did post!

I wanted to help myself with the backgrounds, since they were taking the longest. I then discovered rendering in Vray and painting over it. REALLY helped sort out the lengthy perspective drawing and focus more on what I imagined than the technical details. Holy cow how many times have I redone this...

I keep talking about Plexxus, but here's what it's about!

And here's a storyboard of the Arcade level cutscene.

Some sketches.

And some "Challenge Area" art. (The games you unlock after Oliver opens his own Arcade)

Challenge area menu sketch:

ALSO! Some anatomy! I got the chance to sculpt every bone and muscle in the human body. It was SUPER awesome. Now I'm hyper aware of my own muscles contracting. Kinda cool :O

It's 1/2 life sized made out of oil based clay, took 14 weeks.

Here's the original armature

I now have Zbrush!! WAY EXCITING.  Here's my first sculpt!!

That too big-a head I need to figure the heck out how to shrink.

Crazy time mass of Z-Spheres.

Took me an hour just to figure out how to put something on the canvas and be able edit xO
